EPSC JUGGLE CLUB
The EPSC Juggle Club is a fun and creative way for EPSC players to become more technical , physically balanced, and goal oriented. Juggling is fun and challenging for young players and vital for development , vastly improving touch and ball control.
Players that join the EPSC Juggle Club can compete to win recognition as the top juggle in the categories of starter and beginner, all the way to master. Club members will be featured on EPSC’s Instagram and Facebook and and receive an exclusive EPSC Juggle Club tag to flaunt on their EPSC backpacks.
Juggling is a very useful tool in helping players to "own" the ball that transitions to field play in the following areas:
First Touch: Receiving the ball from different heights, speed and angles.
Dribbling: Becoming proficient with multiple surfaces at speed.
Running: Making timed touches with the ball on the run.
Balance: Adjusting and changing your stance to keep the ball in the air, builds players' sense of balance.
Self-Confidence: Excelling at juggling to create confidence with the ball.
RULES
2016 and younger may start with the ball in the hands. 2015 and older must start with the ball on the ground.
The juggle count returns to zero if the ball hits the ground.
Feet, thighs, head, and even shoulders all count as juggles and we strongly encourage using both feet as much as possible while only using the other body parts when needed.
The soccer ball must be the same size as used in games by the player and correctly inflated (e.g. not flat).
HOW TO COMPETE
Take a video of the player juggling and submit to EleftheriaSoccer@gmail.com or tag us on Instagram or Facebook.
