2022 EPSC Youth Updates and Announcements

Dear players and parents,

We hope that 2022 will be a great year filled with health, happiness and soccer! We would like to update you on what you can expect from Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club starting this Winter season.

  • We are expanding our commitment to player development starting with our coaching. We will provide training opportunities for our coaches to align how we coach our players from the youngest to the oldest through seasonal coaches trainings and provide the opportunity to take USSF courses. We will soon introduce new coaches to the club that bring coaching experience with recognized soccer development programs and higher coaching certifications.

  • We are expanding our programs to include individual player training for our players for those that want to improve the basics to the higher level players. These trainings will focus on the technical, physical and mental skills required for soccer. Many players have been asking for additional training and have pursued options within and outside of our club. We will help facilitate these training to make sure you are getting what you need. As part of this program will will announce the trainers and their schedules in the coming weeks.

  • We are committed to the health and safety of our players, parents and coaches. We can confirm that our coaches are vaccinated for their safety and yours, and will be following best judgements to limit the spread of COVID-19 within our club. As a club, we will look to participate in tournaments and events which have COVID-19 safety protocols. If your child is displaying any symptoms, please do not come to practice, and alert your coach. If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not come to practice, and alert your coach immediately so we can effectively contract trace.

  • We are committed to being a unified club. We ask that all players dress in their EPSC gear when participating in club activities. We can no longer allow players to wear non-EPSC clothing to practices or games. It helps to build a team when we all look like we are on the same team.

  • We are expanding our soccer partnerships to create bigger opportunities for our players Look out for these announcements coming soon by email, on our website and on social media.

What does this all mean to you? It means that you may see some changes that affect you and your team. We ask that you are patient as we work our way through these important steps in further building our player development programs. It also means that there will be more practices, games, tournaments and friendlies in the coming months.

We will host a parents session in the next month to give more updates and answer any questions that you may have.

We appreciate the trust you have in us and our commitment to you is stronger than ever.

All the best
