A Pair of Saturday Night Shutouts for NY Pancyprian Freedoms

The NY Pancyprian Freedoms first and second team were both in action on Saturday night, March 19th, under threat of stormy weather conditions but ready to play.

The NYPF faced Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan Division second place rivals Lansdowne Yonkers FC in a critical game to continue our powerful rise to the top of the table. The evening game was played in Tibbets Field Park and saw the NYPF skip past their rivals 3-0 with the scoring starting in the first minute of play.

Meanwhile over in Astoria Park, the NYPF II faced Cosmopolitan Soccer League opponents LaLiga Academy NY in a match that would oush our team back into first place. The boys played a complete game of soccer dominating their opponents. It took until the 30th minute for the NYPF II to open the scoring and win 5-0.
