The Eleftheria Youth Holiday Party 2022 on Sunday, December 18th was a party to remember! With over 350 people packing in the room at St Demetrios School in Astoria, everyone had a great time. Even Santa Claus made sure he took time from his busy schedule to bring the children presents!

The holiday party is an important time for our community to come together and celebrate. In addition, Eleftheria honors those individuals that go above and beyond to help our club prosper.

Starting with Costa Constantinides, current CEO of the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens and former New York City Council Member. “Costa works tirelessly to make our communities safer.  During his tenure as council member, Costsa transformed and improved Astoria Park including the soccer field we call our home,” said Nicos Tziazas, President of Eleftheria Youth Soccer.

Eleftheria also honored Antonia Varvatsoulis–manager, parent and Eleftheria Youth board member, Nicos Ermogenous–manager, parent, Eleftheria Youth board member and the late George Andreou–manager and parent. “These individuals have been great supporters of Eleftheria soccer and we couldn’t be who we are without them,” said Tziazas.
