EPSC Coach Josefina at US Soccer National Development Center In Kansas City
Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club U15 boys coach Josefina Velez-Tirado landed in Kansas City to attend the US Soccer B-License Development Course at the National Performance Center this week. The B Course extends beyond the classroom time this week in Kansas City and will be a part of the Coach Josefina’s weekly team trainings.
According to the US Soccer Learning Center website, the B Course consists of preparing a coach to work with youth (U13+) and in a performance environment, apply and evaluate team and player development related to our game model and analyze, evaluate and optimize the learning environment for the team and individual players.
“I am thrilled to be part of this class of diverse experienced women coaches coaches from across the country,” said Coach Josefina, EPSC U15 boys coach. “Thank you to US Soccer for the opportunity to expand my coaching education.”
EPSC is aligned with US Soccer’s commitment to providing all coaches, from beginner to advanced, with education tailored to their experiences and the needs of their players. The Coaching License Pathway consists of a series of courses designed to meet the specific needs of a coach at every step of the way. Currently all EPSC coaches are required to have passed the Grassroots course and are encouraged to continue their coaching education.
The EPSC Board and Directors congratulate Coach Josefina on her admission to the B course and look forward to the learnings she will bring back to EPSC and our players.
