EPSC Players Power St John’s Prep Soccer to 2021 Championships

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club players have a proud tradition of playing important roles in their high school and college teams. Our players are commited to helping their team play the best soccer they can to win.

This year is a stand out year for EPSC boys and girls playing important roles in the championships for St. John's Preparatory School, a fully-accredited, coeducational, Catholic, college located in Astoria, Queens.

On Saturday, November 13, 2021, the St John’s Prep Boys Varsity Soccer team became 2021 CHSAA "A" Intersectional Champions. Powered by long time Eleftheria Pancyprians Soccer players and head coach Arthur Ribeiro, the team won their first title since 2005.

“It was an amazing experience,” said Coach Arthur. “So many fans have been waiting for this moment since 2005.'“

Congratulations to EPSC players Anthony Brandimarte , Jason Wyatt Greene, Gabriel Alarcón, Omar Albakry , Ali Nasrallah, Eduardo Medina , Joshua Lucano, Teotl Andrade, Adel Nasrallah , Alejandro Morel and Maurício Saavedra.

The success of EPSC players is not limited to the boy’s team only. Former EPSC players helped the girls varsity team win the 2021 Catholic High School Soccer Championship.Congratulations to Ana Polychroniades, Ciara Waters, Marie Chauca, Evelyn Katsigeorgis and Emmarie Guzman for your amazing performances all season.
