On Saturday, October 9th, the Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club U15 team hosted pre-season mini tournament at St. Michael’s Playground. The invitational tournament featured Griffin United, Logans FC and Real Astoria in addition to the EPSC U15. Each team played three 30 minute games with the top team claiming the trophy.

Led by Coach Josefina Velez-Tirado, the EPSC U15 won the tournament with two wins and a draw. Here are are thee results:

• EPSC U15 won 2-1 vs Griffin United

• Logans FC drew 1-1  vs Real Astoria

• Griffin United lost 1-2 vs Logans FC

• EPSC U15 won 1-0 vs Real Astoria

• EPSC U15 drew 1-1 Logans FC

• Real Astoria lost 0-4 vs Griffin United

Logans FC came in second place and third place was decided in the last game and taken by Griffin United.
