EPSC Unveils Fall 2023 Training Schedule to Elevate Soccer Skills
The Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club (EPSC) is gearing up for a great fall season, and we're thrilled to announce our comprehensive training schedule that promises to ignite passion, refine skills, and foster teamwork.
The EPSC pre-season practices start on Tuesday, August 15th for all teams at the Astoria Park Soccer Field (Astoria, New York 11102) and continue August 17th, 22nd, 29th and 31st.
Starting Tuesday, September 5th From Mondays to Thursdays, our boys and girls travel soccer teams will move into their full Fall season training schedule across two Astoria, Queens locations, promising an unmatched soccer experience for players of all ages.
Monday Evenings: 2010-2007 Squads Take Center Stage at ICYP
Starting Monday, September 11th - Kicking off the week with a burst of energy, EPSC's 2010-2007 age groups (Zone 2) will hit the field at the ICYP grass fields (35-15 20th Ave, Astoria, New York 11105) every Monday, starting at 6:30 pm.
Tuesday Twilight: Astoria Park Hosts Unified Training
Starting Tuesday, September 5th - Tuesday nights are synonymous with unity and growth as all of our teams, regardless of age group, converge at the iconic Astoria Park Soccer Field (Astoria, New York 11102). All EPSC players will engage in comprehensive drills, teamwork exercises, and tactical discussions that build both skill and camaraderie. A soccer field filled with EPSC players wearing their new adidas training uniforms will create a sense of unity and togetherness within the EPSC family. This environment will enable players to learn from each other and succeed as a team.
Midweek Mastery: Technical Training for 2016-2012 Players at ICYP
Starting Wednesday, September 6th - Midweek brings a specialized focus to our youngest players, born between 2016 and 2012 (Zone 1). On Wednesday evenings at the ICYP grass fields (35-15 20th Ave, Astoria, New York 11105), starting at 6:30 pm, these budding soccer stars will immerse themselves in technical training that lays the foundation for a promising future in the sport. Our experienced coaches will guide them through essential drills, nurturing their skills and instilling a deep love for the game.
Wednesday night is a physical training day for our 2010-2007 age groups (Zone 2) with assignments from each coach.
Thursday Thrills: Team Practices at Astoria Park and ICYP
Starting Thursday, September 7th - Thursday nights light up with action as the EPSC community splits into two exciting practices. For the 2010-2007 (Zone 2) squads, Astoria Park serves as the backdrop for skill refinement and strategic gameplay, starting at 6:30 pm. Simultaneously, our 2016-2012 players convene at ICYP, following suit with their own intensive training session at the same time.
At Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club, we're committed to fostering a culture of excellence, camaraderie, and continuous growth. Our outdoor fall training schedule reflects this dedication, offering players the opportunity to hone their skills, embrace teamwork, and revel in the joy of soccer. This schedule will go until mid-November when some of our younger teams will start to go indoors. Our fall season ends Wednesday, December 20th.
