Are you ready to take your coaching skills to the next level? Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club invites coaches of all levels to join their upcoming 7v7 In-Person U.S. Soccer Grassroots Course. Designed as an extension of U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module, this course delves deeper into coaching philosophy, methodology, and player development.

What You'll Learn

During this comprehensive course, coaches will gain insights into U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy. You'll explore the Play-Practice-Play Methodology, a dynamic approach to coaching that maximizes player engagement. Dive into the Six Tasks of a Coach and understand how these tasks apply to players aged 9-10. As a coach, you'll also be encouraged to reflect on your experiences and develop actionable steps for personal growth in the Six Tasks, which encompass Coaching Games, Coaching Training Sessions, Leading the Team, Leading the Player, Managing the Performance Environment, and Leadership.

Course Format

Coaches participating in this course can look forward to a well-rounded learning experience. It begins with a two-hour classroom session led by a licensed instructor, providing valuable insights and knowledge. The classroom session is a vital foundation for the practical aspect, which consists of two hours of on-field coaching and observation. To complete the course successfully, coaches are required to attend both the classroom and field components.

Active Learning

Be prepared for an interactive learning environment. Coaches may have the opportunity to actively participate in the field component, either as coaches or players. This hands-on approach ensures that you not only understand the theory but can put it into practice on the field.
