Holiday Break Schedule and Workout Routine
The holiday season is upon us and its a great reminder to be thankful for our families and loved ones. We at Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club are thankful to all the families that have chosen to partner with us on their soccer journey. Thank you!
The holidays are an important time to take a break from full team practices and give your child’s body break from the stresses of a weekly game. Additionally, youth players tend to grow more in the off-season with at least a 2-3 week breaks period.
For this reason, EPSC will be on a winter break from team practices and games starting from December 17, 2021 until January 10, 2022.
This is great time to improve individual skills and fitness with a home workout routine. For inspiration, here is a daily program that you can be done in your home:
U8-U11: work up to 50 pushups, 50 sit ups and 3 one-minute planks; 5 minutes juggling with both feet; stretches for the legs and hips; practice the Red Bulls Ball Mastery 1 video series
U12+: work up to 100 pushups, 100 sit ups and 6 one-minute planks; 10 minutes juggling with both feet; stretches for the legs and hips; practice the Red Bulls Ball Mastery 2 video series
