NY Pancyprian Freedoms Roll Past Scots American AC

The NY Pancyprian Freedoms rolled past last place Scots American AC 6-0 on Sunday, April 3rd in Kearney, New Jersey, cementing second place in the table in the Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan Division. The flurry goals came courtesy of six goal scorers who also supported each other with assists. This game marks the eighth consecutive win for the NYPF since November 2021.

While over in Astoria Park on Sunday night, the first place NY Pancyprian Freedoms II took on fourth place Aurora FC and secured a 2-0 win with two goals in the first half. The game result was never in question for the NYPF II as they controlled the majority of possession and were able to control the tempo of the game against the very defensive Aurora team.

The first place NYPF Over 30s played on Saturday night at Astoria Park and drew 1-1 in a gridlocked match against NY Albanians FC.

The NYPF are looking to win the remaining four games of the Spring 2022 season and ask all their supporters to be at Belson Stadium at St. John’s University on Sunday, April 10th for an 8pm kick-off as they face arch rivals Greek American FC. “Our goal is the championship!”
