NYPF Share Points with NY Greek Americans

One goal a piece is the final result when the NY Pancyprian Freedoms (12-1-2) visited the NY Greek Americans (13-1-2) on Thursday, April 20th at Hofstra University. Watch the highlights on Game in Frame.

The NY Greek Americans struck early in the first half and then sat back doing everything possible to secure their lead. Early in the second half the NYPF earned a penalty kick which was converted by the fiery hot Joseph Holland. Shortly afterwards, the NYPF were reduced to 10-men for the remainder of the game when Holland received a red card for protesting a blown call by the referee. The NYPF sit in second place in the Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan Division with a game in hand.

On Sunday, April 23rd, the NYPF travel to Sandy Hook, Connecticut to take on Newton Pride FC in the USASA Region 1 Amateur Cup Quarterfinals. Game kickoff is at 5pm.
