Three EPSC Teams Reach Finals of NY Winter Tournament

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club (EPSC) is making its mark on the NY Winter Tournament, with three of its teams advancing to the finals in a testament to the club’s talent, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence. The 2010, 2009, and 2008 teams will compete for championship glory on March 8th and 9th at Randall’s Island, showcasing the strength of EPSC’s youth development.
A Weekend of Finals
EPSC will be well represented across the tournament’s biggest stage:
• EPSC 2010 vs. Brooklyn United Academy - Saturday, March 8th – Randall’s Island, Icahn Field 10, Kickoff: 2:30 PM
• EPSC 2009 vs. Soccer ABC, Sunday, March 9th – Randall’s Island, Field 90, Kickoff: 10:00 AM
• EPSC 2008 vs. DV7, Sunday, March 9th – Randall’s Island, Field 90, Kickoff: 11:45 AM
With all three teams advancing to the final rounds, EPSC is proving its strength and commitment to excellence at every level. Players have battled through intense competition and weather challenges, demonstrating resilience, skill, and teamwork to earn their place in the championship matches.
A Grand Stage with Soccer Legends
This year’s NY Winter Tournament Finals will be even more special, as global soccer icons Andrea Pirlo and Giorgio Chiellini will be in attendance, inspiring the next generation of players. Their presence, alongside Juventus Academy NY’s ongoing partnership with the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL), highlights the growing impact of youth soccer in the region.
Additionally, CJSL President and EPSC Director of Club Development Paul Kontonis will be present to support the continued development of youth players. The finals will be powered by major sponsors, including Adidas, EA Sports, Beretta, Lunar, Prime, and Juventus FC, reinforcing the tournament’s prestige.
