EPSC Coach Alex is running the 2021 New York City Marathon to support the Organization for Autism Research. New York City Marathon runners will be in full force on Sunday, November 7, especially after the 2020 race was cancelled due to covid-19. The New York Marathon goes off in waves, starting at 8:00 a.m. We are expecting heavy congestion and road closures. Please provide ample time for travel to arrive safely and on time for your games this weekend.

The holidays are an important time to take a break from full team practices and give your child’s body break from the stresses of a weekly game. Additionally, youth players tend to grow more in the off-season with at least a 2-3 week breaks period. For this reason, EPSC will be on a winter break from team practices and games starting from December 17, 2021 until January 10, 2022.

In a match that had to be settled in overtime, the NY Pancyprian Freedoms fell to Oyster Bay United FC from the UPSL by 2-0 in a hotly contested battle. The game had unfinished chances for both teams throughout regular time until the goals came in overtime.
