Greek Independence Day Parade 2022 Highlights

It was an amazing sunny June 5th day for the 2022 Greek Independence Day in New York City. Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club and the NY Pancyprian Freedoms marched up Fifth Avenue to cheers from the crowd. At the front of our proud column of marchers, EPSC President Nicos Tziazas proudly leading the way. We were all very proud to be representing our club and history.

EPSC to March in the Greek Independence Day Parade on June 5

The Greek Independence Day Parade on 5th Avenue in NYC will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022. The Greek parade in NYC is the largest parade outside of Greece with tens of thousands of spectators of Hellenic and Philhellenic backgrounds. Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club will march in the parade to proudly showcase our rich heritage and culture.

Virginia Beach was the setting for the annual Ralph Downey Memorial Day Classic 2022 which took place Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th and 29th. Attracting teams from across the east coast, the Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club U19’s came to challenge themselves against some of the best teams in the region, and came away as champions!

CJSL College Scholarship Deadline Approaching

The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League’s annual college scholarship is a $4,000 scholarship awarded to two high school seniors that have played with the CJSL for at least 5 years. The scholarship helps supports soccer players that want to continue their education and soccer playing.
