Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club is deploying the Veo Game Recording and Analysis System beginning with the Fall 2022- Spring 2023 soccer season. This new game analysis system will automatically track, record and analyze the entire game for coach, player and parent review.

The Pancyprian Association and the Greek Cypriot Community mourns the passing of our friend, George (Kokos) Andreou, a loving husband, great Father and an unbelievable Grandfather. Kokos passed on June 8, 2022 from pancreatic cancer.

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club is committed to developing soccer players and finding great opportunities and experiences for them to grow. On Friday, June 3rd, EPSC selected U9, U12 and U13 players to to participate in an exclusive NYCFC Youth Soccer Partner Talent ID with NYCFC scouts at Belson Stadium, St. John’s University.

On Saturday June 18th Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club will host the Annual Picnic and Trophy Day at Con Edison Field in Astoria, Queens. The annual picnic is a great way to end the Spring season before our summer activities.

It was an amazing sunny June 5th day for the 2022 Greek Independence Day in New York City. Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club and the NY Pancyprian Freedoms marched up Fifth Avenue to cheers from the crowd. At the front of our proud column of marchers, EPSC President Nicos Tziazas proudly leading the way. We were all very proud to be representing our club and history.

The Greek Independence Day Parade on 5th Avenue in NYC will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022. The Greek parade in NYC is the largest parade outside of Greece with tens of thousands of spectators of Hellenic and Philhellenic backgrounds. Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club will march in the parade to proudly showcase our rich heritage and culture.

Virginia Beach was the setting for the annual Ralph Downey Memorial Day Classic 2022 which took place Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th and 29th. Attracting teams from across the east coast, the Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club U19’s came to challenge themselves against some of the best teams in the region, and came away as champions!

The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League’s annual college scholarship is a $4,000 scholarship awarded to two high school seniors that have played with the CJSL for at least 5 years. The scholarship helps supports soccer players that want to continue their education and soccer playing.

On Sunday May 22nd, the NY Pancyprian Freedoms eased past KidSuper Samba AC with a 7-0 win at Belson Stadium, St. John’s University in Queens, New York. The win cemented a second place finish for the NYPF in the 2021/2022 season and a spot in the Eastern Premier Soccer League conference playoffs and championship.

As we approach the end of the May, the 2021/2022 season has ended for each of our NY Pancyprian Freedoms teams in the Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL) and and Cosmopolitan Soccer League (CSL). This has been a spectacular year for our teams with all teams securing second place finishes and competing in the post season.

The six-time USA National Champions NY Pancyprian Freedoms will honor Constantinos “Dinos” Iordanou, chairman of the board and retired president and CEO of Arch Capital Group, at their Annual Spring Fundraiser on Thursday, May 19th at The Cove Restaurant & Oyster Bar in Glen Cove, New York.
