This was a busy weekend for the NY Pancyprian Freedoms with each mens teams competing in an Eastern New York State Soccer Association Cup,. Advancing in the three cups would mean the club is keeping with is traditional of being one of the top soccer programs in the nation.

The Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club U15 team win the pre-season mini tournament at St. Michael’s Playground on Saturday, October 9th The invitational tournament featured Griffin United, Logans FC and Real Astoria in addition to the EPSC U15.

Try as they might, Doxa SC could not hold a lead against the NY Pancyprian Freedoms who came back from behind twice and inevitably took the lead with ten minutes left in the game to win 3-2 at Belson Stadium on Sunday, October 9th. The game was played in front of a boisterous crowd of young supporters that turned out for Autograph Night.

Its autograph night when the NY Pancyprian Freedoms take on Doxa SC in the Metropolitan Conference of the Eastern Premier Soccer League on Sunday, October 9th at Belson Stadium, St. john’s University. Mini soccer balls, first come first serve, will be given out to kids in attendance to get an autograph from players like Charlie Ledula, Sebastian Ruiz, Andreas Chronis, Simon Tchoukriel, Andreas Nota and more.

The conditions were rainy, windy, and slippery on the worn out turf at Met Oval, but the second place NY Pancyprian Freedoms showed their class with two first half goals to ensure the victory against eighth place KidSuper Samba AC on Sunday, October 2nd. The second place NYPF have a game in hand as they entered this game and were looking to ensure their climb to the top of the Metropolitan Conference of the Eastern Premiere Soccer League.
