As part of Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club’s approach to developing a complete free thinking soccer player, weekly training has begin at the NYCFC Futsal court under the Triborough Bridge in Astoria. On Wednesday, September 14th, the EPSC U10-13 boys were the first team to start off the new technical training addition to the team trainings at Astoria Park and St. Michael’s playground in Queens.

On a wet night at Belson Stadium on Sunday, September 11th, the NY Pancyprian Freedoms dismantled Seft FC 5-1 in the opening game of the Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan Conference.

Philip Christopher, President of the Pancyprian Association of America, announced today that the NYPF have reappointed Panos Onisiforou as Head Coach of the NYPF (2021/22 Record 14W-2D-2L), Paul Kontonis as Head Coach of the NYPF II (2021/22 Record 12W-2D-4L) and Billy Antoniou, Stratis Mastrokyriakos and Peter Nikolakakos lead ingthe coaching staff of the NYPF Over 30 (2021/22 Record 11W-1D-4L).

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club U15 boys coach Josefina Velez-Tirado landed in Kansas City to attend the US Soccer B-License Development Course at the National Performance Center. The B Course extends beyond the classroom time this week in Kansas City and will be a part of the Coach Josefina’s weekly team trainings.

The NY Pancyprian Freedoms Over 30 run in the 2022 Gerhard Mengel Cup has come to an end today with a 1-0 loss to CD Motagua, from Los Angeles, Region II, in the semi-final of the Championship of Regions in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

To kick off the Fall 2022 season, Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club will have all its travel players at Astoria Park on Thursday 8/25 starting at 6pm for a pre-season session of small sided games.

The NY Pancyprian Freedoms Over 30s are representing Eastern New York Region 1 in the 2022 Gerhard Mengel Cup Championship of Regions on August 19-20 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and hosted by USASA Region III and Tennessee State Soccer Association.

With the Fall preseason about to begin, Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club is expanding across all groups and looking for new and experienced soccer coaches to join our fast growing team of inspired New York City coaches.

The first week of our free Astoria Park Summer Soccer program was quite a success with over 100 participating players from 8 years old and up in small sided games with players from various New York City area clubs.

The Annual Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club Picnic and Trophy Days was help on Saturday, June 18th at the Con Edison soccer field in Astoria, Queens.

In what can be described as a thrilling final game, the NY Pancyprian Freedoms claimed the 2021/2022 championship of the Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan Conference after a 4-2 overtime victory over Zum Schneider FC on Thursday, June 17th.

A memoriam to the late George (Kokos) Andreou was held before the Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL) Metropolitan Conference semi-finals between NY Pancyprian Freedoms and long time title contenders Lansdowne Yonkers FC. Our NYPF roared back after going down 1-0 in the second half to soundly win the game 3-1.
